Cooperative Education

Cooperative Education “COOP” is a unique and structured curriculum that integrates classroom instruction with a supervised productive work-based program.  It provides practical work experience in business, industry, or fields related to students’ career objectives. COOP partners students with employers to provide students with a progressive school and hands-on experience that integrates theory and application.  This learning experience helps students make informed decisions about future careers. Students also develop the work habits, attitudes, job skills, and soft skills necessary in making a successful transition to post-secondary education, apprenticeship programs, or directly to the workplace.   Students can also count cooperative education credits toward High School graduation.
